Interfacial Evolution During Battery Charging and Discharging
Using roughened copper as both the SERS substrate and working electrode, EC-Raman enables potential-controlled in-situ SERS monitoring of anode interface evolution in zinc-based electrolyte systems. Across the charging/discharging potential window (0.1 V to
0.3 V vs. reference electrode), the system tracks the dynamic formation of electrolyte reduction products in real time, revealing interfacial reaction mechanisms at the molecular level and providing direct spectroscopic insights into battery interface processes.
