The MegaEIS™ ME-42SL400x80 is a bi-directional workstation engineered for advanced testing of fuel cells, electrolyzers, and high-current battery modules. Featuring a combined source/load architecture, it handles up to 400 A and 80 V.

With 42 fully synchronized measuring channels, the system delivers true parallel EIS data across the entire assembly. This enables seamless, continuous charge and discharge cycling without switching external hardware, precisely capturing real-time impedance shifts even under aggressive dynamic loads.

Deployment Scenarios

  • High-Current Battery Module Cycling: Execute dynamic charge and discharge profiles on low-voltage, high-current battery modules. True parallel EIS captures state-of-health (SoH) variations across all 42 cells simultaneously during active operation, eliminating multiplexing delays and the need for manual probe reconnection.

  • Reversible Fuel Cell (rSOC) Validation: Evaluate cell stability and degradation by seamlessly alternating between power generation and electrolysis modes. The bi-directional hardware allows you to run continuous cyclic profiles and accurately measure impedance shifts without breaking the circuit or reconnecting cables.

  • High-Current Transient Diagnostics: Monitor the stack's response to severe power surges up to 400 A. The integrated low-impedance current sensor and fully synchronized architecture ensure highly accurate measurement of both AC and DC current components, free from the parasitic effects typical of external boosters.
