OTF-1700X-UL is UL/TUV standard split-able alumina tube furnaces with MoSi2 Heating Elements. The furnace can accommodate 60mm O.D high-quality alumina tubes along with a pair of smart stainless steel vacuum sealing flanges that features needle valves and vacuum gauge. Such configuration allows sample heat treatment under vacuum or flowing gas conditions up to 1700°C. The precise temperature controller can provide 30 segments of heating and cool with +/- 1°C accuracy.

  • Proportional–integral–derivative control (PID control) and auto-tune function
  • 30 segments programmed with ramping, cooling and dwelling steps
  • Built-in over-temperature alarm and thermocouple failure alarm
  • +/- 1 ºC temperature control accuracy
  • Default DB9 PC communication port (PC control module and software are sold separately. 
Optional:  
  • MTS-02 PC control module (also including cable and software) is an add-on option for PC control
    • It is recommended to purchase the module together with the furnace. We install and test it before shipping
    • It is recommended to purchase the laptop (with software pre-installed) from us to avoid software confliction
    • Please note the module is not sold solely in the future

Vacuum Sealing
  • Two stainless steel flanges with vacuum gauge and valves. 1/4" pipe and KF25 adapters are installed in two ends respectively.
  • For a fast & better vacuum, suggest you use stainless steel pipe ( click to order at extra cost ), as well as digital vacuum gauge. 
  • Two pairs of fibrous ceramic tube blocks are included for blocking heat radiation from the inside tube. (Ceramic blocks must be fully inserted into the furnace chamber before heating)
