OTF-1200X-S-II-R5 is a compact two zones rotary tube furnace with a 5" quartz tube, designed for calcining inorganic compounds with better uniformity, especially good for preparing Li-Ion battery cathode powders with conductive coatings

Specifications:

Furnace Construction
  •  Double shell casing with three cooling fans
  • High purity Alumina fibrous insulation for max. energy saving
  • Gear DC motor drives quartz tube with variable speed 0 - 5 RPM
  • The split cover enables faster cooling and easy operation

Heating Zone length
  • Two zones: each zone length is 140 mm, and the total heating zone is 280 mm
  • Constant temperature zone: 100 mm within +/-2oC if two zones are at the same temperature.

Processing Tube
  • Central 5"  Fused quartz processing tube with 4 mixing blades in the center, tube length is 1100 mm
  • SS310 tube is available upon request at the extra cost for max working temp 900°C with a similar size

Rotary Gas Fittings
 
  • One pair of rotary inline fitting ( Magnetic fluid seal)  with flange is included 
  • 1/4" tube is required to connect the rotary fitting
  • Optional: the flange holding the alumina block during the tube rotating is available to purchase at extra cost, please contact MTI for more information.

  • You can add the spacer at the bottom of the furnace to tilt the furnace
