Hionic Planar Substrate

Patented scandia doped zirconia-based substrate for research on intermediate to high temperature (700 - 900°C) Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) anode and cathode materials. The Hionic substrate offers high strength for manufacturability along with high conductivity for distinguishing subtle differences among different electrode materials.

Typical Use Guidelines: Highly conductive Scandia based substrate for fabricating solid oxide fuel cells, or other high temperature applications. The Hionic substrates are ideal for long term testing, and other application where improved conductivity of an electrolyte support is desired.
