Specification

Measurement of light sources properties
The device is used to measure properties of light sources – theirs durability, spectrum and value of the characteristics. It consists of the integrating sphere, the electronic control system and the spectrometer. The set is connected to a PC via USB.

The light source

The light source may be placed in the sphere (if its spectrum is to be tested) or on the electronic control system (where its durability is checked).

Measured values:
rms value of current with an accuracy of 1 mA,
rms voltage on the light source with an accuracy of 1 V
rms voltage value of mains,
active power charged by load with an accuracy of 1 W
reactive power charged by load with an accuracy of 1 var
cosΦ with an accuracy of 0,02°
temperature in the sphere with an accuracy of 0,5°C

Synchronously with every second voltage period are collected 64 values of:
instantaneous voltage,
voltage on the source of light,
current flowing through the source.
This gives the possibility to illustrate the timing of voltage and current of the source.

The device has a built-in phase controller, controlled with a PC. (There is possibility to turn the controller off by short circuit.)
Scope of it’s regulation – every 1% from 0% to 100%. It is also possible to connect your own external regulator.

For checking the durability of the light source, time when light is off and on is defined separately.
For both the range is from 0,2 s to 1000 h.
