MTI

MSK-115A-L is a larger vacuum sealer that does the final sealing for aluminum-laminated battery after electrolyte injection and cell formation. A pouch piercing needle and heatable sealing blade are built into the vacuum chamber. With the advanced pouch auto piercing feature, the battery's final sealing (de-gassing and pouch resealing) can be automatically completed under vacuum conditions. 
Update 01/09/2020: The Spring-loaded pressure board is now made with aluminum. An additional tilting setting has been included in the bottom board - it may now be flat or tilted up.

Spring Loaded Pressure Board
  • Equips with a Spring Loaded Pressure Board to push air out of the pouch cell before vacuuming
  • Produces a much tighter and neater sealing result
  • Max. working pouch cell thickness: 12mm
  • For sealing pouch cells that are thicker than 12mm, simply remove the pressure board
Sealing Blade &  Bayonet
  • The sealing blade is made of copper with a thermal conductive layer
  • Six piercing needles. are built-in for the function of  Bayonet, which is selectable via a switch on the left side of the case ( New function since Dec. 2021 )  Pic. 2
           
Glove Box Compatibility
  • A KF40 Feedthrough for Glovebox is included in the package.
  • Please use high-purity inert gasses (Ar or N2), when operating in the glove box. Using Air Compressor driven when operating outside the glove box.
  • DO NOT set the pressure gauge above 90 psi (0.6 Mpa)!

Sealing Pressure Force 0~100 psi adjustable 
Attention: If a gas cylinder is used instead of an air compressor(pic2), a two-stage pressure regulator(pic1) must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure within the required working range for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
