MegaEIS™ ME-2ZL400

Kolibrik

The MegaEIS™ ME-2ZL400 is a specialized 2-channel load and EIS workstation, engineered specifically for advanced large-format single-cell and small fuel cell stack testing.

Featuring a true zero-voltage load architecture, it is capable of sinking up to 400 A natively even as cell potentials approach 0 V. With two fully synchronized measuring channels, the system allows researchers to execute heavy load profiling, short-circuit simulations, and high-resolution EIS at the extreme lower limits of fuel cell operation without the voltage dropouts common in standard electronic loads.

Key Features

  • True zero-voltage load architecture: Sink maximum continuous current even at ultra-low cell potentials (down to 0 V) for short-circuit and deep discharge testing.
  • Designed for advanced large-format single-cell and 2-cell fuel cell research.
  • Maximum load current up to 400 A
  • Stack voltage up to 75 V
  • 2× dedicated measuring channels for fully synchronized, parallel EIS data acquisition.
  • High-precision current sensing: Artifact-free measurement of both DC and AC components under extreme low-voltage conditions.

Deployment Scenarios

  • Deep Discharge & Short-Circuit Testing: Evaluate fuel cell behavior down to absolute 0 V. The true zero-voltage load architecture pulls up to 400 A even at ultra-low potentials, allowing for safe, controlled short-circuit simulation and deep discharge recovery analysis on massive active areas.

  • High-Current Single-Cell Characterization: Push large-format cells to their operational limits. Execute precise polarization curves and continuous heavy load profiling up to 400 A without being restricted by the minimum operating voltages that limit standard laboratory loads.

  • Ultra-Low Voltage EIS Diagnostics: Capture specific impedance shifts at the brink of cell failure. Perform high-resolution parallel EIS on both channels while operating near 0 V, instantly pinpointing severe mass transport limitations or cathode flooding under extreme stress conditions.
