Nickel Oxide - GDC Anode Powder for Coating Applications

This composite powder of Nickel Oxide and 10 mole% Gadolinium Doped Ceria is a catalytically active anode powder great for use with ceria or zirconia based electrolyte systems. This powder is well suited for using in tape casting, ink manufacturing, pellet pressing and other non-aqueous manufacturing processes.

Since this Nickel Oxide GDC Anode Powder is a mixed component powder we do not have a particle size specification. This powder uses NiO-F, NiO-S, GDC10-TC, and GDC10-M as its components. The powder’s particle size distribution will be bimodal once processing is complete.

This anode powder has been created for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) applications in mind.

• Formulation: 60% by weight NiO and 40% by weight Gd_0.10Ce_0.90O_2-X
• After Reduction: 48.9 vol% NiO and 51.1 vol% Gd_0.10Ce_0.90O_2-X
