670 electrolysis workstation

Scribner

The 670 Electrolysis Workstation is a turnkey, fully integrated platform purpose-built for advanced electrolysis research.

Whether you’re a university research lab, a startup developing next-generation electrolyzers, or an industrial R&D group scaling electrochemical processes, the 670 delivers exceptional control, flexibility, and measurement accuracy.

Designed to support both liquid and gas-phase operation at one or both electrodes, the 670 enables precise investigation across a wide range of electrolysis conditions. From CO₂ reduction and ammonia synthesis to power-to-fuels, syngas production, and electrochemical separations, the system provides reliable performance for modern electrochemical research. With integrated high-current potentiostatic/galvanostatic control (±20 A), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and coordinated control of reactant flow and temperature, the 670 allows you to focus on reaction insights, not system complexity.

  • Electrochemical Analysis – Perform advanced characterization with Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and High-Frequency Resistance (HFR) measurements, along with whole-cell and half-cell measurements using reference electrodes. IR-corrected measurements improve accuracy, and optional integration with the 857 enables enhanced impedance analysis during electrolysis experiments.

  • Real-Time Monitoring – Track voltage and current continuously while running automated experiment sequences. All testing is managed through FlowCell® software, which streamlines experiment control, data collection, and system visibility during operation.

    • Flow & Reaction Insight: Study how operating conditions influence performance with control over gas and liquid environments, support for single-pass or recirculating operation, and sampling options for downstream product analysis.
