The ACCU ACU10FA series is an analog thermal mass flow controller and flow meter for gases. It combines a mass flow sensor, a laminar flow element, a control valve and an amplification/control circuit. Using the calorimetric principle, it measures the temperature difference along a heated capillary to determine the gas mass flow, so readings are not affected by changes in gas temperature or pressure.
The sensor signal is amplified and compared with the setpoint voltage, and the difference drives the control valve in a closed loop. With pure analog input and output, the ACU10FA is easy to integrate with existing secondary instruments, flow computers and PLCs.
